Parent View gives you the chance to tell OFSTED what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. OFSTED use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.

- David is doing really well at this school. Very proud of his learning.
- Like always, I’m very pleased with everything my child learns at school. He likes coming to school and always speaks lovely about his teachers.
- Thank you all staff for the care, education and support.
- St. Richard’s is a brilliant school. Highly recommended.
- Alfie has settled in very well. I am very happy with him being at school. During his struggles at nursery I am very surprised with how well he has settled in. I love how Mrs Nulty welcomes the children in every morning.
- Lovely school, happy for my child to be here. Couldn’t ask for anymore! An improvement would be if after school clubs would start again.

- More communication about what the children are doing.
- Poor communication with parents in general. Example – changing P.E. rules during the summer holiday and only telling parents after school started and uniform had been bought. This also happened a few years ago. Same situation but with backpacks. Don’t think the school promotes children’s self esteem or works for their mental health

As of the 1st of September 2012, an amendment to the School Information Requirements came into force. The two main changes to the requirements are:
a) Schools will no longer be obliged to publish a physical prospectus
b) Instead, there is a list of specific information which schools will be required to make available on their website (or, if the school has no website, the information must be published elsewhere on the web, and parents must be made aware of its location.)

On 9th September 2016, the Department of Education released updated guidelines about the information which schools need to publish, and this page has been updated to show how St. Richard's meets these requirements.
